Natures own

Pomio District is so rich with its natural environment. The environment stretches from the Sinivit LLG all the way to Melkoi LLG which shares the provincial boarder with West New Britain Province south of New Britain Island. Inland into the Nakanai Range where the Bush Mengens live is still part and parcel of Pomio District. Most of the animals and plants found within Nakanai Range are unique compared to other places. Though study and research are still needed to find out more, Nakanai Range is still intact and virgin by nature. Some of the famous names such as the blue hole dive, Muruk cave, Kava kuna, waterfall bay and the list goes on. All these amazing natural environment are all located in Pomio District of Papua New Guinea.
